We’re excited to announce the official launch of UWS Germany – a new chapter in the UWS global network.
On 2nd June 2025, we gathered in Munich with friends, supporters, and partners to celebrate the official launch of UWS Germany – bringing together new and long-term champions of our work. Guests heard from the UWS team about our mission to provide quality, inclusive education to children living in the world’s most remote and marginalised communities.
Formerly known as ConCultures e.V., UWS Germany began as a family-founded nonprofit in 2013. Over the past decade, its dedicated volunteers have led impactful school fundraising campaigns and built long-term partnerships – all in support of UWS’ mission. Now, as UWS Germany e.V., the organisation proudly enters a new chapter, reflecting a stronger commitment than ever to expanding educational opportunity worldwide.
This launch also marks an important step in expanding our European presence – enabling UWS to connect with more supporters, raise vital funds, and ultimately reach even more children with the power of education.
UWS Germany will play a pivotal role in:
– Connecting new supporters and partners across Germany and beyond
– Raising vital funds to support quality education projects
– Driving forward our mission to ensure every child can reach their full potential, through education.
We are very grateful to everyone who joined us in Munich and to all those around the world who continue to support our mission.
