Silvia Shiliashka

Silvia has over 20 years of leadership experience in global investment banks and corporates. She spent her formative career at UBS and Moelis Company in New York and London, advising clients on key financing and strategic matters, and leading the setup of Moelis’s European Fundraising Practice. She subsequently served as Director and Chief Operating Officer of Marlet Property Group, fast-tracking the company’s substantial growth plans to become Ireland’s leading property development group. Most recently, Silvia was a Founding Partner of a growth equity fund for European B2B technology companies.

Silvia strongly believes in the power of education to transform lives, alleviate poverty and help communities make a positive change, and has been supporting educational institutions for the past several years. She is delighted to work with United World Schools as they scale up in their mission to provide quality education and improve life opportunities for some of the world’s poorest children.
